Ashley McKeachie is a Professor at the Saddleback College Emeritus Health Institute, where she teaches a variety of modalities that promote lifelong learning. Each course is academically rigorous, mentally stimulating, socially engaging, and health improving for older adults throughout South Orange County. From Yoga to Chair Exercise, and from Sequential Stretching to Balance and Coordination, Ashley instructs classes that feature positivity, visualization, and goal setting, and she presents inspiring themes that are designed to provoke thoughtful introspection in and out of the classroom.

Ashley is dedicated to student success. She looks at each Emeritus student through a holistic lens. Every interaction is an opportunity to provide the knowledge and skills that will empower every aspect of their life, including the physical, physiological, mental, and emotional layers. She has a passion for teaching in academic environments, to all ages and abilities, and with her yoga therapy and health and wellness coaching background, Ashley is committed to thoughtful communication and empathy, which are much needed when serving all backgrounds and populations. Ashley is patient, accepting, focused, student-centered, a problem solver, an active listener, an adventure seeker, and she is team oriented.
