As your health and wellness coach, I am here to support you, let you take the lead, listen to you, and assist you in identifying the strategies that will encourage you to adopt lifestyle changes, and to help you to manage the challenges that arise on your path to better health. I am here to come alongside you and support your vision of how you want to feel and what you want your life to look like. This is a collaborative partnership. My goal in this relationship is to create a safe space to understand your current circumstances so that together we can uncover what is keeping you from moving forward and achieving your goals.
My job is to help us have a focused conversation, so that you can move forward, which means that I might interrupt you if we aren’t making progress, or I might focus on education if I think you lack some critical knowledge.
If this is our first session, it is an opportunity for me to get to know you and we can take our time so that you feel supported. In the next sessions, my hope of you as a client is for you to come with an intention for our session, which is an idea of what you would like to share and focus on. I want to make the most of our time together and make sure you get what you need.
Usually in a coaching session what happens is that I will check in with you, you will identify your intention, and then we will spend some time exploring so I can understand a little bit better as to what you need, then will get into some goal setting, and finally, I will ask you for some takeaways that are important to you and how you can be supported until the next time we meet.
You are whole and complete and hold all of the answers. Even if you have a diagnosis, I help you unlock a place that might be stuck so you can move forward.
Health is the state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease, or infirmity. Wellness is an active process through which people become aware of, and make choices toward, a more successful existence. Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits daily to attain better physical and mental health outcomes, so that instead of just surviving, you’re thriving.
